Resident Training Program

Our Resident Training Program is a Clinical Training Program for Graduate Interns and Post Graduate Residents pursuing state licenses in Social Work, Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. Residents in Training earn their required hours by providing service to clients with barriers to mental health care through partner homeless shelters. The program serves as a bridge of access allowing individuals to receive mental health treatment in the community where they live, work, and go to school.  Initiation of  services where the individual currently resides, is key to successful support and transition to long term services offered through insurance provided community mental health agencies.

The Resident Training Program offers complete mental health care to clients, including:

  • One-on-one mental health therapy
  • Mental health group therapy
  • Medication Management

Care to community members facing barriers to care is made possible through our partnerships with local agencies and community shelters.
